This Diploma will prepare you to protect the health of communities as an Environmental Health Worker or Technician.

You will study and apply:

– Foundation concepts and principles in chemistry, biology, microbiology, climate and health
– Principles of law, legal processes, and statutory interpretation
– Legislation, regulations and policy that protect the health of humans and the environment
– Complex systems thinking and socio-ecological determinants of health, and
– Food safety and environmental health risk assessment principles and processes

Successful completion of this Diploma provides you with an articulated pathway to become an accredited Environmental Health Officer through completion of the Bachelor of Health Science (Applied Environmental Health).
