This program includes compulsory placements in settings that have vaccination requirements.
Credit for Enrolled Nurses: Students may receive credit transfer (of 8 courses) if they hold current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nursing (Division 2) (General) without restrictions/conditions and have completed a Diploma of Nursing from an accredited Australian education provider within 10 years prior to admission. Evidence of AHPRA registration must be provided with the application.
NOTE: Applicants who do not have current registration or hold current registration with restrictions etc, no credit transfer will be granted. If the diploma was completed more than 10 years ago, a current resume must be supplied with the credit application for consideration of credit.
Before undertaking a clinical placement, students must obtain and maintain a current first aid and CPR certificate, comply with QLD Health vaccination requirements, provide evidence of hepatitis B immunisation, undergo a criminal history check and obtain a Blue Card; refer to institution. The Inherent Academic Requirements of a program are those fundamental skills, capabilities and knowledge that students must be able to demonstrate in order to achieve the essential learning outcomes of the program, while maintaining the academic integrity of that program.
